The mesh (mesh) allows air to circulate freely through the backrest, which eliminates perspiration — a major advantage in the summer or in offices without air conditioning. Classic upholstery offers a softer feel to the touch, but retains heat.

The numbers indicate how many adjustment directions the armrests have:

• 2D — height adjustable and swivel
• 3D — adds forward-backward adjustment
• 4D (available on Vision) — also moves laterally, plus everything else

Why does it matter? If the armrests are not at the correct height, your shoulders compensate — and after a few hours, tension appears in your neck and trapezius. The more adjustments you have, the more you can tailor the chair to your body.
